I did a Fermi estimate based on my (undoubtedly flawed) picture WEFT: $0.0015 fee per song 1,000 streaming listeners 8 songs per hour 16 hours a day of streamable programming 30 days a month == $5,760/mo in fees Their minimum fee of $500/mo gives you a paltry 11,000 track plays per day.
